COVID-19: Silly Loaf is open as normal
Hey chums, I hope you're all keeping safe and well during these unusual times.
I just wanted to write a quick note to let you know that I'm open as normal here at Silly Loaf and provide you some more information about how I run things if you'd like to know.
I usually work from a studio space that I share with two other makers, however while we're distancing ourselves from each other we are all working from home as much as possible. I have set myself up in my old office at home in the spare bedroom to make all your lovely orders and I visit my studio once a week (when it's empty) to use my laser cutter.
There may be some small delays of a few days here and there due to reducing my access to my laser cutter and there may be a few days delay with Royal Mail depending on their workload. Please bear with us, we're doing our very best.
I am posting all your orders via a post box, whether they are large letter (standard post box) or bigger (I can drive to a parcel post box when needed) so I am having no contact whatsoever at a physical Post Office.
I share the house with my partner, who is also working from home. We only leave the house to visit the supermarket around once a week and to walk the dog so we're keeping very isolated and have not been in contact with anyone else.
Last month we visited Japan and self isolated for 14 days upon our return, We have had no symptoms whatsoever, thankfully.
I am of course washing my hands and making and packing your orders carefully. If you're at all worried further, you could leave your package to one side for a few days before opening it.
If you have any other questions, do let me know!!
